liked trans am out of the selection of companies my school works with
ive read volumes of this site for info all the companies run into the same thing small variances couldnt keep them straight so I asked a few blunt questions , don't want to answer you don't have to , Id be cool with no replies , pretty sure someone here has asked a question already covered on the forum somewhere ..do I think your given me a hard time 100% could have just ignored the thread or answered and moved on , you chose to school me so ..consider it done I am done asking questions I can get answered here from a recruiter thanks again .......good luck to ya bwaync

irishlad~ It is very hard to sort through all of the information on here. It all runs together after awhile. Feel free to send me a PM and
I will tell you what I know as the wife of a TransAm company driver. If I can't answer I may be able to direct you to another driver that can. Bottom line, as far as starter companies TransAm isn't bad. Everyone has to start somewhere to get that first year or two of OTR experience. Good luck to you

Transam uses elogs exclusively. I like that, it's easier on the driver.
Training pay isn't great, but you can survive on it. Bring some cash to training though, if you want to buy some stuff for your truck right away when you get it.irishlad Thanks this. -
bwaync, you are such a hard ###! LOL! irishlad, $50 a day, but you will not see it until the next week and it will only be $100, (minus taxes). Pay period ends on a Thursday and you get paid a week later on a Friday. Bring extra cash if you can!

awesome thanks for the 411 Im gonna make a post that can hopefully get sticky to trans am a cheat sheet of sorts for noobs ,
my attitude right now is this whole journey up to solo day one will be the hardest of this experience.... the rest will of course have challenges but this alteration to my lifestyle , my families lifestyle is not a easy one I don't expect it to be by any means ..I appreciate anyone who offers information to add to this post , know that myself and hopefully someone else will and have benefited!d o g Thanks this.
