Look it sucks but there is no freaking money to get, it doesn't matter what the law is, if there is no money you can't get any, Don't take my word for call a lawyer and if he/she tells you they can get your money I'll pay the lawyer fee when I see the check.
Looks like Omni specialized is in trouble

Yes you get another job..
But you don't just let the SOB get away with what the FEDERAL GUIDELINES are as an employer...
And ALL employees (not only driver's)
Under Omni employment should receive and RESPOND TO the following court Information.
Employees might not ever see a dime but if you don't file the required form YOUR not BEING PROACTIVE...That is why the court sent the information to employees -
Truckerswife, has hubby found a job. If not where do you guys live and how much experience does he have

NO TICKETS, NO ACCIDENTS
It just P****s me off that other drivers don't support fellow driver's in a situation like this... That is the problem on the highways with so many drivers just out for themselves.
Don't get on here and
"Do The Employees Dirty"
Thanks To All Who Have Shown Supportladr, bzinger, passingthru69 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Please don't think I'm not being supportive when I say don't bother suing. Quite the opposite. I don't want you to throw good money after bad.
The case is currently in bankruptcy court. It's being handled. Nothing will happen until the court closes the case, and pays back whatever is owed to whichever creditors will get whichever assets.
As for suing him personally, I'm doubtful you'll even find a lawyer that will. And if you do I'd not trust him.... That's the whole point of incorporating. The owner is not liable.
As to the poster that said he cleaned out account and fled... Well if that is true and not simply a rumor then again the courts are involved. Theft, contempt of court, and I'm sure several others.
At the very least, simply wait until the bankruptcy is finished and then see what, if anything, can be done legally.passingthru69, p608, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this.
