BTW, I'm in Central VA, (between Richmond and Staunton, close to I-64 Exit 136. If any Omni drivers are stranded nearby, I can try to get them home. All I ask is that if they smoke, don't do it around me or in my car, and they at least cover my fuel round-trip, as I'm between jobs ATM and can't afford to eat the cost.

    Neosho?
Anyone going through Joplin could make that work. Good luck. Wish I could help.

Rob, I've been told that all you guys are welcome over at my company as well. I've very content over here, great insurance, and decent pay. If your interested just send me a message, or reply to this thread and I'll message you the contact numbers for my DM, they act as recruiters as well.

This is another good reason that drivers if at all possible to have a credit card on them to be able to rent a car to get home... it's outright pathetic how some of these companies end up in this situation and send everybody down the river stranded across the country

My husband is a driver for Omni and this is some information I have been able to find....The BIGGEST QUESTION IS...
If it was filled as a Chapter 11 then the pay should have happened on Friday 6/2
You have to ask yourself...Do they even have the money to pay the employees ?
My husband was told by his dispatch that Omni is having a "special court date" on Tuesday so they can pay wages from 6/2...That court date is NOT showing up on the Docket Information ?

I'll pm you as the forum has rules against recruiting outside of the recruiting forum

    Good find.

I posted links to articles regarding both lawsuits by Tennant and the leasing company, as well as the lawsuit by Rohel. Looking at what they both state, it would seem that Omni isn't paying their bills

It's no coincidence that the company would pick a holiday weekend (Memorial Day)to file for Chapter 11 and leave drivers high and dry.

Where is Tennant's and Omni's headquarters located?
