I’ll sell you my 06 freightliner century.
Fully deleted 14.0 series 60 Detroit
- full rebuild on engine less than 150k miles new
- fast as **** and pulls 78k gross like I’m on butter
- just put a new set of injectors/harness
- new carrier bearing, tie rods, torque bars, all shocks (all less than 50k on them)
- all new brake components (drums, chambers, slacks, etc..all of it)
- new radiator, air charge, multiple coolant hoses (all less than 100k)
- about to do new clutch, rear main, input shaft, etc …all of it down there
55k I’m asking. If I do the clutch and all 58k
everyone hates centurys but if you’re in the business to make money, nothing beats a old reliable, rebuilt Detroit 60 or old cat. Never been a fan of cummins aside from the 12v pickup. Only thing is Detroit is cheaper to repair.

These days, 60k may not even get you an automobile, much less a truck. You'll need some more cash, or you'll have to be ultra patient.
