And how is he going to keep from taking out the median poles?? DANG! Looks like he might clear the handrails...it would be very close...but there is still a pole...and no one unbolting it... Looks like its going to be a long night for them!

Hes not gonna make that turn...I bet they have some forklifts to pick the trailer up and move it over as needed to clear the poles.

Seems to me it could have been made...start from the rear most escort care and look at the angle and that could have been taken...might have hit a curb or two....remove the stop light the guys are standing around and you could have made it. From what I'm seeing I think he could've. Looks like a good angle to have taken...and ALOT less work.

Around here, the trailer axles are steered remotely by the following escort car.

Sorry, I don't know. Based on the truck type, it appears to be EU somewhere perhaps.

Yes, it looks like he could have made it if they removed the stoplights where the cops are standing and went that way.

I don't think a forklift would work. Probably would require a crane if they were to do it, but frankly, I'd just work on backing it out and going a different route.

Depends on whats it the box. A couple of heavy duty forklifts only need to be able to lift it off the ground a few inches to side shift it.

We have very narrow shop openings at my terminal, and sometimes a guy pulling a set of doubles will get hung up to where he cant get in or out of the shop because he didnt swing wide enough or whatever. Weve taken 2-3 forklifts and picked up the back of the pup to move it over a foot or 2. And they arent even heavy duty forklifts. They have a max capacity around 5,000.
