Do you have a boost gauge? Are you building boost. May have a leak in your charge air cooler.
-
air cooler brand new about 2 months ago boost Gauge shows I do boost normal but my acceleration and boosting lags about 5 seconds before I go to my peak 28pnds boost
-
OK, Even though it is brand new one of the hoses could split or have a pinhole. when you say lagging are you talking about the Turbo spooling up? Also I would make sure that your air cleaner is clean maybe even put a new one in change your fuel filters. Start with the places that are the cheapest firstfrito bandito Thanks this.

yes spooling up and well if I floor the pedal to the ground truck won't accelerate right away it will take 5 seconds slowly gradually accelerating and for thr turbo spooling up as well i checked all hoses clamps everything and nothing they were new as well

You can probably can build one yourself but mechanics have a tester that they charged the cold air system to about 40 pounds and check for leaks that's the best way to check it. Are you blowing black smoke out of the stack?

wouldn't that trigger a code
