Just for the hell of it...
This technology now is a real pain.. These ELD things we did not have.. @homeskillet pasted a little way back about having to stop and circle 4 or 5 truck stops in a 20 mile stretch to find a vacant slot. Old days, no sweat... Just drive on till next morning and at daylight find many anywhere...

You can't stop progress unfortunately. The solution to the world not filling up is easy but no one agrees with it. It would be to stop having children and betteryet, stop falling in to crazy religions where having children is the main goal.

Like I said, no one wants to hear it.

Those crossovers are sketchy.Watch out for those raggedy old water haulers, they don't pay attention to the yield signs. We had near misses with the junk water trucks regularly.
They are planning on making those frontage roads in Odessa /Midland one way soon,so that will eliminate the crossover hazard.
On another note, one of the biggest offenses during those DOT checks is No Valid CDL.

If the problem was your trucks/tires/etc you would lose traction in numerous places at the same speed or similar conditions. If you don't have traction problems but at this one spot and that range of speeds, it is a road problem.
