Didn’t hit anything or anyone on I 75 ... if I were you, I’d go buy lottery tickets. That’s amazing.

He said he will have to go slow. He was worried it tore something else up.
He thought he hit a bump in the construction area. Then it was dr
Crossed the median and across oncoming traffic the split in different directions. He is very lucky.

He just sent me a photo of the receipt. It states what they repaired and cost. Very simple invoice with NO fine print of needing to retorque.

If dot catches him, they will shut him down. the u-joints on the jack shaft are going to be in a heck of a bind, unless he jacks it up and chains it in place. I would have called back to the tire shop before I did anything, there is a good chance they have a shop somewhere in the area they work with on things like this. When I had my shop in NM, I went out and re fixed things like this for several shops, as far away as flagstaff and billed them, for it.

A dual wheel GOT me in Canada once, I never had a clue where it even came from, except out of the sky. lol It really was not that bad, but the estimate was over 10 grand to have a body shop fix it.

Your husband is indeed very fortunate.

That happened to me one time in a company truck that I was driving.

Never underestimate the Carnage that those Wheels coming off could cause.

If I told you how far those Wheels flew off of the truck I was driving and the velocity that they flew at, you would not believe me.

    He is very fortunate.
