Lost all power to sleeper and interior lights 2017 579.

    Do u have a fuse panel under the bunk? iirc theres a relay and fuse board on drivers side under the bunk that is for the sleeper items. Maybe something got wet in there

    I do and also one under the hood. Checked all 3 and unless its a bad relay im strikeing out x.x

    AH HA! Found it, 2 wires appeared to have rubbed in the frame and were jumping each other. Did some snippy snip and a heat shrink. Seems to work fine now

    I see what happened the guy who owned the truck before i did out a 7.5 amp fuse into a 10 amp fuse socket according to my diagram so i popped a 10 in and it works fine for the moment. My guess is that with the wires jumping it lowered the amps just enough that a 7.5 was good enough. Though it also explains why i kept blowing my mirror heater fuse as it was the jumped wire.

    Where exactly were the 2 rubbed wires located ? I have the exact same problem in my 16 Pete 579

    Behind the fuse box where they meet in a bundle. If you get the bottom chunk of dash off you will see it. Also i doubt my solution will fix yours. My truck has......history of rather....iffy repairs done by the last owner i keep finding.
