Almost a year ago I went home to fight my first ever moving vilolation, unsafe lane change rolling up the grapevine in my company truck. Instead and to make a long story short I ended up being pulled over while on home time, driving my 4 wheeler for not wearing my seat belt and was stupid enough to confess I had drank a couple. I was book for DUI, fought the charge and it was reduced to a dry reckless thanks to a favorable police report. Under bad advise i promtly notify my carrier and surrender my CDL to DMV, needles to say I lost my job, my CDL over 200,000 and 2 years of safely driven miles. NO DUI in my driving record......Elegible to get CDL back on Dec 24, 2009. Do you think any one will hire me? How about if I buy my own truck and try to get back as an O/O. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thnx

Did that years ago, not interested in that line of work again but I think I'll be looking into buying my own truck, get my own authority and pay my high insurance premiums out of pocket. I have a close and dear friend who is a broker and will check to see if thats a possibility.......
