Lost Fuel tank keys O/O ANY SUGGESTIONS on GETTING IT UNLOCKED

    I been trying to find big enuff Pliers to run on it...vut i think ill wait til this weekend and try a Big Monkey Wrench ..and go back and forth hopefully ill get somewhere

    yea it is hard to find pliers that big. you think an oil filter wrench might work? some do have the band on them that tightens when you pull the handle to loosen it. may be worth a try, depending on how strong the locking pins are on the cap. and if they are made of plastic or metal.

    thats gonna be a big pipewrench. the weight of that thing alone will probably break the cap loose. lol.

    Not sure if there plastic or metal but when u try n move it with your hand it moves maybe..n im saying maybe a hlf inch or a inch if that..its real tight..

    Lol.i.hope so up until this day i havent found my da-am keys...i checked truck sleeper,undersleeper,seats bed and all..still no keys...

    yea i lost a set of keys in the woods while camping. had to hot wire my truck ( which was easy 1972 ford f100 4X4) i then put a new ignition switch and new door locks in it a couple of days later. but here is the kicker, my keys had an extra tag with my address on them from my old coon dogs collar. after doing all that, my keys arrived in an envelope in my mailbox about 3 hours later that day. someone found them and mailed them back to me. my wife laughed at me over it.

    yea , really. i dont think ive ever felt so dumb, well maybe at one point or another. but when you do all that work and then get the keys back 3 hours later, oh yea , i didnt think i was ever gonna live that one down. my wife knew so didnt take long for everybody else to know too. yea , as everybody said, only me. lol.
