I went to fuel up today and realize my fuel tank chain was gone. Came lose at the cap and fell into tank. Any of you have this happnd before?? I hope i wont have to pull the tank of to get it out. Truck runs fine.

It will be fine in there, just don't loose cap and let fuel get contaminated. You can just install a new chain on your cap at terminal or what have you.

Happens occasionally, get a coat hangar and fish it out.

it wont hurt anything to leave it in there, if you can see it might try fishing it out with something but personally i wouldn't put much effort into it just replace it and truck on

Yah, like the others said, it will be harmless. Too heavy to be sucked up. If you can get the fuel slosh just right and have the chain near the opening you could try a long magnet, or one of those long tools with the grabby fingers at the end to fish it out if you want.
