And yet I did anyways lol. On a similar note the bike builder Jesse James will have a show on tv at the end of March I believe, riding a motorcycle on the ice road. He's on a motorcycle forum I belong to and they had some pics of it on there (doesn't seem like a good idea to me but to each his own haha)

This is the first time they have aired the show in Canada...silly isn't it! Anyway enjoy! My husband always jokes they should make a reality show bout American OTR drivers...except he says the whole show would be beeped out! LMAO

    Cheers!

I've read a few of your posts on other threads and seen some of your pictures and I have to say I have nothing but respect for you, I've driven through some nasty weather but I don't think I'd like to try the ice road out lol. I know they did some things on the show to make it look more dangerous than it is and it looks like they took the biggest yahoos they could find for the show, the only question I have is when you're driving on the ice do you really hear it cracking as much as it does on television or did they just set up a bunch of microphones to catch it.

I've been ice fishing, but it was years ago. If I'm out on the ice I'm usually riding a ski-doo and I try to go fast enough that I dont hear anything but wind lol.

Explain the rules for a scripted Television show, thats just funny. As far as rules of driving they are oil production rules, Im sure Canada has exemptions just as we do down here. They have camps set up at given intervals, the drivers must check in and out of. If they put everything on the tele you would stop watching.

Thanks! Yes, the ice DOES make noise...it crackles & pops & groans. That's cause it "flexes" as you drive over it. If it DOESN'T make noise THEN you have BIG trouble! Most of us, when we are out on the ice, drive with our windows about 1/2 way down...we WANT to hear it! Music to the ears it is!

    Ducks and Hurryupandwait Thank this.
