Loud boom and billowing smoke need help diagnosing

    Probably blew the turbo. Take the boot off the front of it. You’ll Probably see oil in it. Nothing you did could have caused it to blow. Boss outta know better to run it more than 700k without changing it. If the Truck has dual stacks, the y pipe is probably rusted/split open. Any leak would explain the smoke underneath. I doubt the mechanic sabotaged you. Boss can think whatever he wants. The diagnosis will tell. If oil was half low, engine will shut down before it will blow up. Boss outta know that too. Stop the paranoia, Lol. Things break on 24 yr old Trucks all the time.
