This has been boggling my mind all day long.. I was driving down the interstate minding my own business when i heard and felt a loud thud come from the front drivers side of the truck .. It sounded like it came from the tire , i pulled over expecting a flat ... But there was no flat... There was nothing under the hood that indicated something happened... No body damage.. No broken suspension parts... No leaking fluid..no missing parts.. All gauges are at normal level... Nothing.... I could feel it in the floorboard when it made the sound.. Like something exploded.. But no evidence anywhere...My truck looks exactly the same as when i was doing a pre trip ... I didnt hit a pothole or run over anything... I have just chalked it up to the weirdest thing thats happened to me in awhile... Anybody have any thoughts of what it could be

Sounds like you hit one of those illegal aliens? They make a similar sound when hit.

Been there done that. It didn’t quite sound like a tire, perhaps a little weaker than a tire being blown. So I looked under my hood expecting maybe a hose or something or maybe the rubber tube on the inlet/outlet side to be blown.

Never figured out what it was...... it was the darndest feeling....

I had an air compressor line break. It sounded like a tire blow.
Did you air compressor build to much pressure than purge it?

This ain't one of those trucker lies.

I had the samething happen this last winter.
Heard a loud bang, sounded like I blew a tire.
    Pulled over nothing wrong.

Happened 3 more times, kept pulling over.
    Couldn't find anything. (Wtf).

I finally made it to the customer and parked.
It happened again while I was parked idling
The truck. It was freezing outside.

It wasn't outside,it was inside the truck.
I had a twelve pack of soda on the passenger
    Side floor board.
Sitting right underneath the floor heat.
It was the cans of soda exploding 1 at a time.

What a mess that was to clean up.
