Loud turbo whistle/whine when when motor is under load!

Want to add when checking the tube coming out of the tubo thats where those boots are follow that tube towards the radiator. Theres where ur c the csc.

 

if the truck isn't running/pulling badly,then perhaps the turbo is working properly especially since you installed a new turbo. i've been around trucks when that happened.i love to hear the turbo.did the boost increase after instaliing the new turbo?

 

my turbo got loud after changing one of EGRs..

turned out to be loose clamp/hose between AIR FILTER and TURBO on turbo side

 

that a boost leak no doubt, also when the VGT actuator starts acting up you will get s whistle not as loud as a boost leak though

 

still could be the csc or boots I just had a new turbo and it did the same as yours. it would whistle under a load ck forcracks on that csc tube.

 

CAC Charge Air Cooler

 

Hope the after cooler is not leaking..

 

Charge air cooler hose. It wont do it bobtailing cause its not working hard. When you hook up the trailer the turbo is boosting more. Take it off clean it and check it. Just a couple of clamps on it.
