Im looking to get into either a regional dedicated or local gig back home in Louisiana. I've googled and searched companies from Louisiana but for the most part, all I get are links to the bigs. I wouldn't mind doing a Schnieder or JB Hunt regional or dedicated run, but i'd like to possibly work for a smaller company and not deal with the issues most of the bigs have. Whenever I drive home, I'm usually keeping my eyes open for tractor trailers that are from Louisiana but don't come across many. I'm looking at you ChinaTown. I see you seem to know everything about all companies. Could you possibly steer me in the right direction? I don't want to make it seem like I'm lazy and haven't tried to do the research myself. I have a list of companies that I was able to find from writing down their names on the sides of their trucks. But the list is short. And as stated, Google isn't helpful. I've done Craigslist with little success as well. I've been on Indeed and again, mostly there are nothing but links to the bigs. I'm in the Baton Rouge area.

Get the endorsements, then do the online applications. After that, visit the terminal and say you submitted an application and checking on it.

Dual Trucking
Back in 2012 when I worked with a bunch of those guys everybody that work for that company said it was one of the best companies they ever worked for. They even paid $700 every 5 weeks to fly you home if you lived out of state and if you chose to drive yourself home they still give you the $700 to put in your gas tank. Not sure how it is now but it's worth looking intoLast edited: Apr 18, 2016
