The obvious answer is to slow down to under 70, but that's no fun. -
At that mileage I doubt if any one did the bearings the oil is a little warm. Do you idle a lot? It could be the oil cooler is going bad. Any oil in coolant or reversed? Also in all my trucks from new I change oil every 12-15 k miles oil is cheap compared to a motor especially one with a lot of miles
20 Mule Team and cnsper Thank this. -
Since in running across IN right now, I slowed down and oil is at 215-220°. -
20,000 is too long of an interval with all of the idling that you do. Go 12,000 and you will be good.

My company is all Mack, our '07 and '08 had this issue, since you've only had the truck a year, I'll almost bet that this repair was done once previous to you buying the truck, my '07 had it done twice, before they replaced the coppers with stainless, and that was in less than 570K.

I can't get over how much better this truck runs. The low end torque makes a huge difference. I had a chance to pull a load Friday that had me at 79,780#. It's still not a C15, but I'm happy and don't have to constantly downshift to get it going.
