I noticed that this engine has an early BXS crank in it. Has anyone ever figured out why Cat changed the alloy in the later Acerts? Is there a disadvantage to the early Acert crank?

Oh, I didn’t catch what the price tag was on this one.
A while back, I watched his 6NZ video where he used a complete loaded aftermarket head and rebushed the rockers with bigger bushings and shaved down the rocker shafts . I can’t see any other difference with this build. That one he quoted $40,000....he supplied the core engine.

Well if u dont trust a engine on a chain , do u trust it securing the freight on a flatbed driving next to u?
