Would it sound redundant if I said I love Love's? ;-)

I thought I read if you update to their new card you get double points.

Yep. For a limited time, not sure when that ends. That's on all fuel points AND merchandise. So be sure to present your card when you get that 2 for $2.22 king size candy bar deals they are always offering.

My wife bought me one of those roadking food warmers for Valentines day. We got it at Love's so I could add the points.

Actually have had someone from Loves walk in as I was getting dressed. She froze for a second, apologized, and gave me $10 off my purchase on the way out.

Nowadays your suppose to get 1-4x points depending on your previous month fueling. Gold (500 gals) is 2x, Platinum (1000 gals) is 3x, and Diamond (1500 gals) is 4x. I usually always get Platinum, but I might make Diamond this month.

Don't want to brag/boast, but I've found that I've accumulated 28,179 points on my Loves card. It slowly started to collect while driving for Ruan and fueling at the local Loves when the yard pumps were down. Now with the current outfit, I've been fueling a daycab there every night for the past, nine months and they seemed to have jumped right up there. Amazingly, I've used the points a few times on some non-truck road trips for lunch and they barely put a dent in it.

That's kind of a tough one. I was thinking an inverter for my road trips out to those mass bicycle rides I do. I lost the other one I had after I stopped doing long haul about four years ago. As long as I'm working where I'm at, free lunches?

Never mind, I misread your points.

I know this is going off-topic a little bit but I noticed that there's a thing called Diamond status with my loves reward card and I was wondering what is Diamond status and what is the difference between diamond and platinum

Diamond is 4 points per gallon, unlimited showers, and more Tirepass credits but not sure how many. Used to get the required 1500 gallons a month regularly but now that I run much closer to home I'm always on the border between gold and platinum.
