I have the hard blue rubber hose, probably 15 yrs old, brass fittings on either end, recently modified it from 50' to 60' because some trailers are harder to reach than others.

You know they sell those at Walmart, right? If you want a nicer one, go to Napa or pretty much any store that sells air tools. Put it on one end of a hose, and a glad hand on the other.

I actually done that myself instead of buying it at a ripoff price.

I don't see anyone twisting anybody's arm to buy stuff, it's there, it's convenient for some, overpriced for others. Not sure what the issue is, wish I'd a thought up the pet rock scam.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Rural King has a similar hose with just threaded ends for 19.99 versus Loves 29.99 with the air chuck and glad hand.

I bought the hose separately, used Melton quick couplers, and added those to the older hose I have.

I can hook both together for 100 feet, or just use the flexible one. Use the female on a glad hand, and the male on a Milton air chuck, I have a remote guage setup but have not used it, it will read out the pressure whenever you let go of the trigger.

Only the first place I worked at used one like it.
