This is true. When they first opened that Loves there near Watford City, I had to do a 34 there in sub freezing temps. I watched mainly hotshots and travel trailers towed out, but also saw a few semis get yanked.
No one ever knocked on my door or bothered me,. so I would suspect the trucks that did get yanked had been there a while.

Fire up the Twitter machine and complain to Loves on there. Twitter sometimes gets you a faster response than calling.

SouthPark should do a show about this.
"Dey took my truk"SidewaysBentHalo, Lepton1, Roberts450 and 2 others Thank this. -
Any show South Park decides to do is sure to be slightly hilarious and pretty darn accurate (scary to admit. Lol)SingingWolf and tucker Thank this.

Reading through the rest of the reviews it sounds like this location has an extreme issue with unauthorized drop trailers and trucks left for extended periods taking up a good portion of the lot at all times. Granted it's not fair for those like yourself who are staying and patronizing the location but you can't blame them for being trigger happy. Just like the discussion in the other thread about parking at PFJ this boils back to a group of idiot drivers ruining it for everyone.

Some drivers feel best when they convince themselves the whole world is conspiring to hurt them 24/7. I wouldn't leave my truck empty for 24 hours, but I will bet real cash nobody in a legal spot is towed from a Loves while they are inside getting a shower. I know 98% of new drivers don't know the difference between parking at the fuel pumps and a legal parking spot. Those are usually the drivers convinced the world is out to get them.samcperez Thanks this.

Nobody that ever got towed away has ever lied about how long their vehicle was left unattended. To the bystanders the vehicle has been there all day, to the person being towed it was there for less than 5 minutes.Lepton1 Thanks this.

There was a case on one of those TV judge programs, Judge Judy, I believe about a car that got towed from a parking lot.
The vehicle driver had parked in the parking lot of a business, then walked across the street to a different business
Judge Judy said that if the parking lot is on private land, which most are, then it is perfectly legal to have the vehicle towed the moment the driver walks off the property. -
What don't you understand about the company policy? It specifically clarifies their position to tow any truck left unattended. Solution, find another place to do a thirty four restart.

What don't you understand about the policy? If I can't park and leave for two hours to have lunch???? Does that seem ok ? I'm not trying to leave my truck or trailer parked for a 34...I never said that.
