Recently my carrier has switched to fueling at Loves because it is always a penny cheaper than all the others. I like the penny savings but don't like the coffee or the food (most) Loves has to offer. How about you?

Pilot coffee is the best. Food? None make me happy. It's just the fact that between all of them and seeing and smelling the same thing over and over, kinda catches up to you.

Im a Starbucks addict, but otr I fuel at loves and usually get the primo coffee that is pretty strong for my taste buds. What I have noticed is that not all primos are the same, some are very watered down.

loves has too long of lines to get fuel. still like them better than pilot tho.

Don't like Loves receiving priority over Pilot as there are more pilots to utilize for future showers. Then again, I think the "fuel optimizer" solutions do more to contribute to crowded and long wait times at truck stops than most anything. I can see companies wanting to avoid fueling in "high fuel" markets, but when every major carrier directs their entire fleet who needs fuel while in the market to the Pilot West Knoxville, it creates huge problems and delays for the drivers .. all to save $1.50 a fill up.
With the new 30 minute mid-day break requirement coming, you sit 15 minutes in line for fuel, then log your 15 for fuel ... and you're still not in compliance for your 30 minute break so that 15 minutes is at the driver's unpaid cost.Indiana Jack and BoyWander Thank this. -
totally agree

Have you seen Love's Express Shower signs ? Get a number from the fuel desk and feel free to get a bite to eat in the restaurant or browse in the store until your number is called . BS . Did they take a cue from WalMart pharmacies ? Make them wait so they'll spend money . And you WILL wait. On 3rd shift aT Love's there is one person responsible for running the fuel desk and cleaning showers.

often on 2nd shift as well.
