Light Emitting Object, often observed while travelling by highway.

Can be unsettling for drivers if passed by one at high speeds, usually only of concern if object remains in rearview mirror while pulling to the side.

If the bridges were as short as you say and only one axle was on them at a time, then they weren't overloaded by you crossing them. It doesn't matter what the total weight of your truck is just how much of the truck is on the bridge at one time. If the bridge is long enough for the entire truck to fit on then don't get on one rated for less than 40 tons if you're maxed out on weight.

uh.....NOOoooooo.....common sense CANNOT be taught......one either has it or not.......and those that do not have it are doomed to make mistakes of epic proportions.......like some trucker who got whacked with a $17,000 bridge fine, or some driver who did not wake up his trainer, and said trainer that said, "the bridge would only collapse if one parked on it".......

    common sense is
and if one does not see or comprehend the obvious......

then obviously, no common sense was used........

ReRun you keep putting up pictures of that rockin boat and I have flash backs. Never got sick but wished it would stop. Round bottom half loaded Victory Cargo Ships will rock and roll in the North Pacific in the winter time. Just thought I break in.

Like Johhny1 and others said, get a motor carrier atlas and CHECK your routing! If you don't do this it could cost you! Not only that but something could seriously happen. You are now a professional driver and that is how you will be treated when you get pulled over or cause a major accident. Accidents in a commercial motor vehicle could get you attempted manslaughter charges. Plus your license is your "bread and butter". You are going to want to protect it. Another thing you need to do besides checking your motor carrier atlas is to call the shipper/receiver and ask for their truck routing directions. Make sure you are talking to someone who knows the difference between a big rig and the road they take to drive to work in the morning. One more thing:

DON'T DO THIS EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! YOU GOT LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked at the route that Markers83 took in the 2010 RM Atlas and it shows it as a designated route. Of course that doesn't mean much.

I did a google map on 226 East and saw photos of the two bridges he mentioned. Although you can't actually read the weight limits on the sign you can see the three separate truck sizes. Both bridges are real short so it is doubtful he was in any danger as long as he didn't hit them at 60mph or stop on them.
