Just got call out of the blue, usually happens this time of the year. One month before insurance runs out. Guy asks if I want a insurance quote. I say no that I have remained with the same agent since I started. He says that premiums should be 10 to 15 percent lower this year. He is saying the reduction in the amount of cars on the road should reflect my cost.
Lower Premiums

No that is what the guy said. Now my car insurance is giving good neighbor relief. Our church insurance is down 15% Actuary numbers would show fewer opportunities for payouts. Stands to reason. Meat prices are going up, not because no meat but no one to process. Farmers having to kill their own animals. No BS

Every insurance carrier is responding to the Covid virus in different ways. We (National Indemnity....part of Berkshire Hathaway), are returning 3-7% of annual premium due to lower frequency of loss during this period.....and we are applying a similar credit to new business to reflect the downturn in miles and therefore claims activity.
