LTL company change advice, what do you all think

    My time with the teamsters carries over which is good. I have 6 months senority at my current job. Need about 15 years to get the good stuff. I'm on a bid now because some guys messed up their bid sheets. I'd rather close the few months then look for a greener grass job than lose years like you said. If I had years of seniority at YRC I wouldn't be doing what I am

    Parcel just pays insane. I saw a pay scale for topped out triple pay .78 cpm. Freaking crazy! But I have a buddy who does the 4 wheel van delivering packages, been there 12-13yrs, M-F 40-50hrs a week no holidays or weekends makes over 70k a year. No CDL.

    Those package delivery guys get beat up around the holidays, good thing they dont need CDL or they'd be out of hours in 2 1/2 days.

    which is why your butthole bleeds trying to send even a small package via UPS...Every time I see a set of package doubles or triples, I think lots and lots of dollar signs.

    Yup, I see a package set, I'm like that guy is getting paid. But it takes along time to get a feeder position. Heard 10yrs sometimes depends on terminal though.
