hey guys (and gals), that company that told me the above, is long gone. I think FedEx bought them out, and this would be back in the 1990's.
the trucks they had were red day cabs, typical for an LTL operation, and i am trying to recall the name, something like....
AM Freight..??
ring a bell to you other LTL long time drivers..???
thanks in advance

At my old LTL, we ran regardless of the day, the weather, doctor's appointments, family engagements, anniversaries, feeling that you were fatigued...they didn't care.
Only thing that ever worked with them was doctor's notes. Okay. See ya soon, but not too soon! ^.^
Not only did they not care about your safety or your family, eventually people stopped showing the CEO pictures of their children after the phrase "tender human flesh" was used a little too often to be a joke or coincidence.
But they're a great company. Recommended highly.Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -

The company's going to claim I injured myself at home anyway, may as well enjoy the off time.
(For clarification, all of this sarcasm is directed at my FORMER employer, not my current one. Lol)Sirscrapntruckalot and MACK E-6 Thank this. -
