They were gearing up to do it just before the supreme court decision, we were told to start masking up before coming into the building and that it was going to be either take the shot and get the card or get weekly testing which would take place at the terminal and paid for by Saia, the day after the supreme court decision, all the signs for masking up were removed and the take the shot or get tested every week was dropped just like that, haven't heard anything since, they supposedly paid the employees who went and got the shot two extra PTO days for the year, I wasn't one of those employees and don't intend to be, I just don't trust the shot at this point.

 

In their defense, Saia dropped the mandate shenanigans and honored the supreme court decision, we are not being required to get the shot or test weekly to stay employed, well atleast for now.

 

At least they dropped it! Unlike Carhartt. My cousin works at the DC in Hanson KY and she had to get it or get fired.

 

Yep, which is why Carhartt won't see another dollar from me, to bad too, I really like their gear and T shirts, I will keep what I have, but no future purchases.

 

Which is the way it should be, believe me it wasn't really reassuring to see how easily our executive level leadership was going to give up and fold so easily to this tyranny, but atleast I have a heads up now and know what to expect and it won't be a surprise.

 

When I was at the big R&L No terminal I went to said anything about a mask. You could not even tell anything was wrong when you were at terminals. Was kinda nice. Even when someone got a cold/flu the terminal said NOTHING.

 

I would be curious to know if the Estes did the same thing, being that both R+L and Estes are privately owned and not publicly traded.
