I always spray fluid film on the studs and the washer on the nut. Motor oil would be fine too. My 3/4 impact works great , double checked with torque wrench always right on 450-500 ftlbs.
Nuts always come off nice when it's time for tires and never a problem with corrosion.
You need a bit of lube for correct torque numbers just like a head bolt needs lube for same reason.
