Today in MA I took the permit test and passed the general, combination and air brakes. I noticed when I got to the parking lot afterwards under endorsements it is blank. Under restrictions is corrective lenses. It just says 'Class A permit'. Is this normal in MA? I know in some states air brakes is a restriction that is removed, but from what I read in MA it looks like it is an endorsement. Do I need to go back and have them fix it?
I going to be taking an aptitude test for the electric company and one of the prerequisites is a class a or b permit with air brake restriction removed.

I would of course double check, but I do believe class A is automatically air brakes as its a combination license and combinations are air brakes.

Thanks Bayle, I went back over to Easthampton and they told me that the air brakes would show under restrictions if I hadn't taken/passed the test.

The only endorsements that will actually show on your Class A license or permit are: "T"- Doubles and triples, "X" -hazmat/tanker,"N"- for just tanker without hazmat and "P" - passenger. If you are on Facebook, you should check out "Massachusetts Truckers" page. We're a pretty active group with almost 500 members.
