Considering you're the only one that was there the only one side we can get is your side.
There's a lot of professionals on this site who get into very few close calls and would never let themselves get into the situation you describe. There is obviously blame to go around. The truck drivers involved should have avoided that situation. You should have also avoided that situation.
It's easy to avoid those type of things but when you start ranting and bringing up stand your ground it's clear you're not here to learn and that you lack the mentality to be a safe driver. Good luck with the Police.

If U were to post the video as asked U might be pleasantly surprised what the opinion of the reviewers may be as U would be given a HONEST review
Something tells me this either didn't happen or U weren't quite the VICTIM Ur portraying Urself to be
Time to POST IT or DROP IT -
That's why I get over a mile or two before my lane ends.
If I don't I end up with a vehicle slowing down and matching my speed to keep me from switching lanes.Ssand Man, KillingTime, Lonesome and 3 others Thank this. -
Put up or shut up
mjd4277 and 4mer trucker Thank this. -
I was coming out of San Antonio
Heavy traffic
I was in the far right lane
In the middle lane was a little red convertible well behind me
A state trooper was in the hammer lane further behind
Construction
I could see a short ramp ahead with a lot of traffic coming out
I signaled to move over
The lady in the convertible tried to gun it so I couldn't. It was obvious.
I moved over quickly while I still had room.
The trooper passed me and waved.
When the lady passed me, she flipped me off.
Then she called my company
She was just another 4 wheeler that didn't want a truck moving over into HER lane.
Of course, she had a story to tell, too.4mer trucker Thanks this. -
Regardless of who has the rightaway if a wreck occurs in that situation the truck driver will likely walk away.
The 4-wheeler will be crushed like a beer can.
Not defending bad truck drivers. But when I'm in my car I'm consciously aware that the truck is much much bigger than me and I act accordingly.
Sounds to me that the OP put his family in danger.Boattlebot, Rusty Trawler, mjd4277 and 2 others Thank this. -
Playing the devil's advocate here, but if the OP had a mile of clear vision to see the construction, and which lane to be in, then so did Mabe 1 &2.
What did Mabe do, if anything, to help prevent this mishap?
OP, if you're still around, I would be curious as to what law enforcement says about the situation.tinytim Thanks this. -
Rusty Trawler, 4mer trucker and tucker Thank this. -
Sounds to me like the OP needs to learn about passive agressive driving.
A mile ahead you see two lanes go to one and you hang out next to the truck?
Why not pass him? Why not slow and let him over?
Hey OP we see passive aggressive driving all day everyday.
It doesn't impress us.
It doesn't make us mad.
It does show us how shallow of a life that person possesses.
It does show us a small human who has control over nothing and so they have to control traffic flow.
That driver was working to support HIS family and since he didn't slow to show his gratitude for the great person you are you want to file a law suit and call the police.
Had their been an accident that driver would of been without an income for a week, a month who knows?
I recommend paying better attention at church and seeing a doctor for some anti depressants.
Good luck.Voyager1968, 4mer trucker and tucker Thank this.
