Not new really but don't know where to ask this. I'm in a Mack LE600 garbage truck. The warning light is a red circular arrow starting at 7 o'clock with the arrow going clockwise stopping at 5 o'clock. There is a big red X going through it. Also getting a warning alarm beeping. Thanks all.

Ha! I was thinking it was the abandone ship light. We are using on a TV show today so thankfully I'm not in it all day having to listen to it.

That means your job is NOT a 7am to 5pm job, you are on call 24/7/365.

What you saw was a #### down indicator telling you that the engine will shut down within 15 or 20 seconds.

"That is the engine shutdown indicator. It should only come on for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, low coolant level, high transmission temperature, and high pyrometer. If everything was ok then you may have an electrical problem"

We’re you idling for a long time? Did it shut down?

There might be an override button on your dash that will prevent engine from shutting down when that happens...

Affirmed. This is an indicator that the self-destruct sequence is running.

No, not idling at all. They drove the truck to location with it on and I drove it on set with on, with no issues. I had never seen that before and googling didn't help. Thanks all for the help. Thankfully, not my truck and if it breaks down, I'm not stranded!
