I have demoed two different Mack pinnacles. Both have very heavy steering. Is there any way to fix this? Anybody else have similar thoughts? Really like the truck other than the steering.

Shouldn’t be any heavier than the rest of the Mack’s. Let’s start off with this question, what truck or trucks steering are you used to?

Have a few different ones T800, western star, and a Pete 379. All steer easier than the mack

Like all Macks, they drive better when they're loaded. Maybe a lighter oil, what did the dealer say.

I have a 2017 Mack pinnacle, with set forward front axle. The lack of power steering is only thing I do not like about the truck, it definitely steers "like a truck"!

Weight training at the GYM. Once you get popeye'ed adequately then someone should steer you in the right direction to pick out a truck you can handle.

//teasing. I am in one of those moods this morning.

Anyone not spending a dollar to install power steering into a modern truck today is a idiot.

The trucks have power steering, lol. It's just not as good as other trucks.

    I didn't notice that.

Check steer pressures , grease kingpins , if you need to.. Check caster too.

    What year is yours?
