Just a FYI on DAT that load should be 2.43 - 2.91 a mile and that is the average it has gone for. I always start way higher then the average. If you want rates to go up you need to work that average up, not down.

I hope you don’t pay for that app. It’s such BS
Had it for a month never used it double brokered loads everywhere. I go straight thru the big brokers and shippers no need for an app. Also if you used it by now u will know there rates are way off. I use JB Hunt, Schneider, Knight/Swift, Arrive Logistics,Trinity, Coyote, Uber Freight, Convoy & last Amazon. Pretty much I always have an assigned broker with each and have developed a report where they are always going to get me the best price on a load even if they have to break even on a load. And $2.43-$2.91 is not going to happen I can assure you unless it’s last minute need it done by tomorrow loads. Which is me.

I don't use the app it self but I do use the website. It becomes more useful in knowing the lane rates and I have only booked a few loads from it. But I do keep up on all the lane rates to make sure I am doing everything I can to get the best rate when neg a rate. It has paid for itself several times over by watching last minute loads. In fact I had one of my best paying loads from it a couple years back in Texas from JB hunt. Was 500 miles for 5500 one day delivery. That was before covid hit on a dry van.

Trucker path has the same info on lane rates. Also now a good paying load to go back to Wisconsin to see family from Texas 1,100 miles is only paying $1,500-$2,300. That’s why I won’t do it. I Seen one last week to move last minute going for $2,700. Yea man Covid days even last year where paying. Did my Taxes averaged $4.03 a mile all last year. Now I feel like that was an eternity ago.

    Vampire and Siinman Thank this.

Schiender sucks on their boards. I do get some good loads from them now and again if I post my truck on DAT.

that’s the best load going to the Midwest from all carriers I mentioned. Lol
It only gets worst from there. Just showing you how right now Texas, Florida, California & Colorado are not doing well in regards to rates. But I’m usually pulling a load for the best prices available in Texas.
