By by the way I called recruiting and got voicemail, waiting on a call back. I'm guessing you guys pull typical reefer freight? Lots of grocery warehouses?

 

Not necessarily typical grocery warehouses, one of our frequent deliveries go to Mclane dist. Centers, now granted I have only been here 6 weeks, but I have only had to put in for detention once. So far I have gotten in and out within two hours from most of my pick ups or deliveries. We haul a lot of French fries, egg products, coke cola, some beer, cleaning supplies, etc. I'm actually on a dry load right now, Interplanet Jane can probably give you a better idea of products we haul.

 

It was scheduled for Tuesday. I got an extra day hanging at the J in Dallas...So got paid $75 to watch season 4 of Breaking Bad..... maybe it was all the rain... but the lot lizard/wheel polishers were nonexistent..... which is supposedly a rarity here....Finally got loaded and made it to the Vinita Service Area on 44 north in Oklahoma. Bout 40 miles to Missouri....... Headed to McCook Illinois.... I think.... I have different addresses on the Load Offer and the Bills... so Dispatch is suppose to be figuring it out. Has the right order # and BOL # just 2 different addresses in Illinois......

 

Yea, alot of Mclain's. Ive also been to Sysco's, MBM, IFH, SYGMA, Acme/Supersaver, Whole Foods, WEB, Halls and a specialty products place in NJ. . I really thought I would get more detention but usually in and out in under 2 hrs...

Out of curiosity does Magnum run more 587's or 579's? What type of trailers do they use most frequently?

Recruiting doesnt get in a hurry to return calls. Called yesterday at 2pm, you would think someone would of found time to call back by now.
