Picked up in Park Rapids yesterday and headed to Fairburn, GA...glad to hear I am not the only one having lighting issues.

My driver side headlight goes in and out. Called road service a few hours ago...he said "might not be all the way in". I'll call again tomorrow. I see the plug is melting.
"Was" going to stop by the CR yard yesterday....but after sitting at the dealership for a wknd....I am leary.

 

That is a common problem with the '16's. I had the same issue and was stuck in South St. Paul at Stockmens and carried it over to Peterbilt and they replaced that wiring harness. They did make the mistake of saying that one of the parts stores (I believe AutoZone) had the harness and of course it's super simple to replace. Cut the old harness off, strip some of the wire insulation off use heat shrink butt connectors splice new harness in and you're ready to roll again!

 

Lol funny you should say that, that's exactly what the previous driver or whoever did before.

 

The 15's have crap harnesses too, gotta love the lowest price vendor wins thing!

 

I had light problems and it turned out to be the wiring harness behind the front bumper right. Near the active radar unit.
Once fixed it has given me no more problems....

 

Made my delivery in Tualatin, Or yesterday and deadheaded back down to Nampa, Idaho.
Picking up now. Got my pick up time changed from 1630 today to 0600
Delivers at Rochelle, Il
I've been running on recaps so I am going to find a place to take a 34 somewhere along the route... have a couple days still with sweet hours coming back... and I hate to waste them... lol

 

Dropping off in Bismarck and heading to Jamestown to pick up a load headed to Newnan GA...something different coming off of hometime

 

Went to my FAVORITE place in TX and boy did they remember me. Had absolutely no problem out in a hour. They were actually nice too. Loading now going to Hebron
