Beer load was ready 3 hours early. Made to my delivery today before they closed today so I delivered a day early. Heading to Denver tomorrow for Saturday delivery. Said I'd only take it if I could reload on Saturday and not have to wait till Monday to reload. DSP said no problem will have me something.

 

We actually have hearts here...you know for a training company...

 

Finally came back to work yesterday. 8 days off... I'm a slacker!!

Picked up at Kay In Winston Salem NC yesterday. Got on up to Sturtavant this afternoon. Deliver at 0800 tomorrow.
Then I pick up down in Hampshire, IL as soon as I'm empty and bring that up to Fargo ND. Then pick up on Saturday in Grank Forks and bring that down to Rochelle, IL for 1st thing Monday...
Not sure about a reload for Monday yet... but If I get stuck for the Holiday I will #### sure be running to somewhere around Chicago and trying to get to Wrigley Field on the 4th.... if I can get a ticket....
But that means I will probably get a load!

 

Reloading in Houston tomorrow for Williston on Sunday. Hope they don't have any problems getting me a reload, I had some overflow from last pay period and want to maximize next week.

Take whatever they offer... slim pickings for Monday.....

If that load is what I am thinking it is. You will need a hazmat and tanker endorsement for it. Also make sure they give you the right placards on it. If it's totes the placards must have the UN number on them. It's considered a bulk shipment. Last time i was there they tried to give me non bulk placards. That place in Williston is open 7 days a week. If you can get there before they will still take it.

 

Fun back at the shipper too... easy load if you get the right placards.... I took the placards off some of the totes in the middle of the load to have enough to put on the trailer....

At least they have a scale on site.... but you have to back onto it cause there is no room... lol

 

On a postive note my wife took my daughter back to Nashville today to look for some custom made drums and she will finalize her order tomorrow. She should get them in 3 weeks. This will be her first set of new drums, everything she has now is either used or someone gave it to her. Man is she excited.

 

Home of the 79,999 pound load....at my old company I grossed 79,300 (48,000 pounds of beer)
