No not at all, the cadys are nice. Just not a fan of trailer tails. I've worked for a company that added them while I was there and they didn't seem to help fuel mileage at all. They were constantly damaged as well, just seems like more trouble then they are worth, imo

 

Lets stop the bickering. Alot of good info here and they will lock if the bickering continues.
Trailer tails are a non issue... as I do a walk around at the end of the day...I close them. When backing into a dock, I close them then open the doors.... never had a damaged set. Thats what we got. You dont like it...work somewhere else..plain and simple... ... over and out....

 

Plain and simple, dont tell ANYONE what they should or shouldn't like, where they should or shouldn't work. Janet started all the BS after I said I didn't like trailer tails. She had no right to start judging me because I don't like them, who the **** does she, or anyone else for that matter, think they are?

Since when does someone have to like EVERYTHING about a company in order to work there? I don't recall claiming Magnum wasn't a good company because they had trailer tails, I simply stated I don't like them. This is a public forum and everyone has the right to their opinion wether anyone likes it or not.

The bottom line is this, was I a little quick to comment on them returning my call? ... YES! ... I admit I'm not the most patient individual in the world. As far as the trailer tails go I'm not a fan, period. It doesn't mean I was trying to knock Magnum for having them, it also didn't mean that I no longer wanted to work there.

Simply stated, you have to weigh the good and the bad, and as far as I can see the good far outweighs the bad at Magnum. With 20 years experience I still put them near the top as far as pay (top pay at .50 a mile), and equipment. There aren't many companies that can top the overall package even for an experienced driver, never mind a new driver. Magnum sounds like a great company for anyone!
