I'm at the flying j by Warrenton Mo. They built a new Pilot shop here I walked in with fuse to get another one and he just gave it to me. Wouldn't take anything for the fuse.
Is this the fuse that Thermo King charges $125 to replace?

 

If it keeps blowing the fuse (the main one under the cover) ThermoKing has an updated harness they are now installing...just spent the day in Greensboro getting one installed myself.

That fuse is problematic....
Best tool in my toolbox is a fuse tester....

 

If that's the 50amp mega fuse you're talking about, it came loose on my Interstate truck and actually shorted and melted. Still under warranty and replaced. If you ever need TK service, theguysat the Charlotte NC shop are great! Quick, too, as best they can with the amount of traffic they got in there.

 

Petro at Remington IN has at least 3 LTD trucks here tonight. If I had known the pilot at this exit was closed, I'd have done things a little different today. Oh well...
