Sounds like a perfect nightmare!

 

I was there for 40 hours that one time. I refused to leave the door and make it as inconvenient as possible till I had some paperwork.

 

Tried to do the same, but gave up eventually and said screw it, went to the Pilot to get a shower.

 

With all the issues with that place why do we still go their?
Unless it pays a small fortune because nobody is willing to go there.

 

Big customer. Reload is at Tyson going to Hanover Park for the same customer. So by screwing up my day, they really just screwed up theirs, only in a different location.

 

Because our time is cheap, they are not only a big customer, but a corporation with deep pockets and really our detention doesn't even really register with them...

 

I was paid handsomely for my time there. If it wasn't for the aggravation and high blood pressure they induce I would ask for them to keep me like that every time I go there. Some things just aren't worth it.

 

Made my delivery to Mclanes in Concord NC. Got here early. First in the gate at 2230 for a 0100 appt. Out the gate and parked at my hidey hole before midnight.... one of my favorite places to deliver. Like clockwork every time.....

Gonna get a few hrs sleep and then drop this trailer in Greensboro at the yard and head home. Been out 4 weeks. Need some hometime.....

 

All worked out well for in Chicago area last night. Got empty just in time to pick up the Snapple load on time and got loaded with just enough time to make it to Appleton and park on the street. Now will head to Fargo, take a reset, load at Jamestown and head for Newnan for Monday. Bada Bing, Bada Boom...

What is the capacity of the def tank on the '15's? Based on what the gauge says, about 12gal or so? I'm not able to run a week like I did with the last truck I had at IDC. Still learning! And earning!!

 

I've got a '16 and when the light came on it took 16 gallons...I was getting very concerned about running out (I was on US 212 in no mans land).
