I've gotten reloads out of Arkansas for 3 years.... and deliveries for a couple....

 

Last I noticed, this forum is a place to let off steam. So he is directing his anger accordingly, imo.

For whatever reason, I wasn't given a choice coming out of Fargo. This is what I got when the NC canceled. Of course, Miller is new also so maybe he's not aware of offering what like loads are available. Then again, by that time, that might've been all that was left. I'm leaning more towards the somebody else had to get home or didn't want to go to Arkansas. The load info wasn't sent on Thur so I'm learning that pretty much until you get it over the PeopleNet, it's up in the air. Now, if I wanted to go to little rock after taking my time off here in ND then getting another reset enroute, that would've been a different story. When you're led to believe it's not forced dispatch and given a load like this with no discussion of layover days or other offer to make up for the crappy load, ya get kinda ticked off. I know, it'll get better...

 

That late in the day I'm willing to bet all the Monday loads had already been dispatched. And you got what they could come up with.

I sent the guy a pm and apologized. But he was offered the solution and didn't like the answer. Nothing the drivers could do to fix the mistake he made.... the ONLY solution for needing an edit is sending Bryce a message... to me, this issue is over.

 

So call the office and ask that they make it right for you. A little negotiation couldn't hurt.

 

With all the extra drivers in town for the BBQ, loads were probably scarce. But it's on you to ask what other choices there are. Sometimes the dispatcher will offer the load that they know is a dud first. They want to get rid of it as bad as you don't want it! Lol Just say "Ok, what else do you have?"
Sometimes they will have nothing else that works with your hrs or hometime request. Sometimes they will ask you to take it cause they need it covered. Most times they will ramble off a few other destinations....
Always ask about detention. Only sometimes will they offer without you asking.... Call Chad if you think you deserve it and get denied.

 

Come in on 10th. Overnight allowed, back it down in the southwest corner, and maybe you'll get loaded early. Opens at 0600 or 0700 iirc
