MPG is just a small part of the equation. Getting from place to place safely and on time is most important in my opinion. Of course, I don’t get any kind of MPG bonus.

I got 621 in today. Drop and hook tomorrow at noon then back home tomorrow night.

We used to call that the "Driver Has No Life" award.

Different operations manager and he has let that one slide away. Was a good motivational tool as you point out.

    Don't think he's a woman hater, btw.

Anybody ever get hit with a bad case of coffee sh*ts while stuck in rush hour traffic? I wonder what the people next to me must have thought.

    mattbh23 and runningman0661 Thank this.

Sounds like a good story. Mine was caused by White Castle burgers the night before. I cut through a couple parking lots in my car to get to a car dealership. That restroom was uninhabitable when I got done. My other one was during my time with my trainer. Out in the desert on I-8 or I-10. Thank god for those viaducts under the road.

Just had to make it five miles to a Loves but it took 30 minutes. I was seriously considering ducking behind a guard rail.

I've never had to use it, but I keep a 5 gal bucket, Hefty bags, and toilet paper on the truck.

Well, we HAD a driver that was in dire straights and forgot to set his brakes as he was diving for the bucket! I believe it was close to a 5K repair job to the front end from a guard rail:).

Yes. It’s part of life out here. Happens very rarely anymore. I used to keep a trash can and necessary supplies though.
