Magnum ltd - fargo, nd

Heard good things about them. They get to keep their name and brand. Wonder what will change now that theyre owned by swift/knight. That sucks.

 

I have a couple friends who drive for them, they're cautiously optimistic.

 

Maybe they want them just for money or a premium brand? 100 million doesnt sound like a lot when youre doing billions. On the flip side, knowing these companies are megas that dont allow inverters, fridges, CBs a lot of the times, it would be hard to be optimistic if I was abilene. I believe Abilene pays better too.

 

Abilene doesn’t pay better, their drivers are actually hoping to get a raise. Insurance will be better, they now work for the largest trucking company in the country. I wouldn’t be surprised if the trucks get turned down to 65MPH.

 

Darn, i thought they paid better. Thats sad.

 

I drove for them, and still have several friends that do, they recently got a raise and added a bonus program, but below industry standards.

 

Friend of mine who drives for them told me that he was told there are no plans to turn the trucks down...yet.

 

Anyone know if Magnum will reimburse for the cost of an Uber from this motel I'm stuck in to get to my truck to get some clothes and such since I'm broke down? Had no clue I would be here this long.

 

Don't know for sure but can't hurt to ask, I'd talk to Chad.

 

I was told they did but i need to call accounting and see if Randy took care of it.
