Magnum ltd - fargo, nd

Ok guys.... orientation finished Thursday. Us 6 LTD got our trucks ready to go.
I won’t bore you with my specifics and hold ups. Got help from radioshark.
I’m now sitting in Coon Rapids. Taking ten. Brought a trailer here. Supposed to pick up an LTL for Rapid City tomorrow. Then headed home for 5 days.
I need that badly. Other job just plain burnt me out. Haven’t had home time since first week in October. Tony said to come on in. Company will give me the needed home time right away. That’s what they did. I love efficient. The bringing an LTL to Rapid is so efficient. Geesh... dispatch nailed it.
BTW... loving this truck. Really sweet to drive. Never drove a Pete before.

 

1642 is what I got. Going to team to recover 1921 in Dillon MTMT a my wagon is going to Oregon. Casey put me in hotel another night so that was awesome. Lol, I msg'd Jordan about load info and she sent back she thought I saw Miller earlier. Well, I did! But I think they were still setting up particulars. I see there's a MT 55 at Whitehall MT to Dillon...anyone ever take that? If not, I'll just run to 15 and down. Orientation went very well for the record size of the class, 9 trainees and 8 experienced with 2 of those going to LTL at Minot and Rapid City. Going to have to get another CB on the way, no biggie. Well, back in the saddle again! Life is good! Take care and see ya down the road!

 

If you got Jordan as your DM, you got lucky. She was my DM and absolutely loved having her. She took good care of me.

 

Scooter, I take that route (Mt55 to Mt41) often when running out here (ND to Caldwell) it’s mostly 2 lane but it’s well maintained and a pretty easy ride. Watch out for deer though!

 

I had a dispatcher at Knight named Jordan. Wonder if it’s the same girl.

 

Gee people... I couldn’t be happier right now. Kinda disoriented and lack of concentration. Everyone/thing has been great so far. In contrast to coming here on Monday, stressed out from striving with everything in last job.
Kayleigh helped me make sure all my paperwork was done right. Gave me a tour of everything in Coon Rapids. She’s the one setting up a load for me to Rapid.
Woke up this morning so happy in this truck. This thing is super nice. The bed is huge.
Gotta say I’m impressed so far. Lovin’ it. So happy. I’m pondering quitting smoking.

 

Sitting here waiting on my trailer being loaded. I may have to go next door to eat at Outback. Oh how I suffer in driving.

 

You should quit smoking. It’s a decision you’ll never regret. You’ll be amazed how much better food tastes.
Plus, the inside of your truck will stay much cleaner.
