I’m doing good, I drove for PigBacon for awhile and like all good things that ended. I’m now a CDL instructor for the community college. Anyway, tell your bride I said hey! Be safe

How was your time with Magnum? I wanted to join them but, they weren't hiring in South Florida at the time, don't know if they changed that now.

Honestly I liked it. They’re a good training company (IMO). Management is so so, they’d rather punish a whole group of folks instead of dealing with the problem driver. The drivers used to be able to call and talk with a regional dispatcher and that’s changed (not for the better). They aren’t forced dispatch so you have some say in what loads you can take. As a new driver they were great to and for me. As somewhat of a veteran driver I believe there are lots better companies out there. Hope this helps! I did meet some great friends with them….

How's the hometime policy there? That was one of the main attractions for me, I heard you could take 2 weeks off if you want to. Also do you think there're better options for a year of experience driver out there than them?

With a years experience, i honestly have no idea. If you had 2 years experience there are lots more options. And yes, they have a very liberal home time policy. I believe you still have to give them 10 days notice.

nextgentrucker, cdavis188 and Winnyf1 Thank this.

10 days notice, I have never had them say no to me on time off requests on how much time off I wanted. But it has to be within reason

What's an example of what you would consider that's within reason?
