FYI Most of 75 is under road work in Ohio

 

I have gone all those ways. I like 35 to 675 (this way you miss Dayton) to 70 to 75 the best but there are a few bad construction zones .... Going up 23 ain't bad, but it makes you go around Columbus on 270... Which could suck depending on time of day
77 to 277 to 80 is longer I think... And there was a lot of construction on the Turnpike this way...
Really... It's up to you.... 6 of one, half dozen of another...

 

If you can't get ahold of a dispatcher call the outbound number and ask to be transferred, that way you're not playing phone tag.

 

I'm heading west on 35 in OH and planning on taking 75 to 70, the construction is not that bad other than rush hour...

 

Still hate you for the WA run , I'll take 600 every day...be safe on your way east

 

Radioshark is on his way to Detriot and 75 through Toledo is a mess....
I skip that 75 construction through Dayton by going 675... It's about 5 miles longer, but easy driving....

I ran into a trainer and his FNG at Ameri Cold in Moses Lake, WA. As far as being jealous, don't be for this trip...it has been hell. Looking back, I think Nick knew what the forcast was supposed to be or something. I think he remembered our conversation when I was in new hire because he straight up said something like "Hey, you have experience out west, right? You have driven a semi in the mountains and snow, right?". The majority of 94 to Billings was a sheet of ice on the trip out, and well, today was a very long & stressful day.
