since I'm Captain of my ship... I decieded to head up to Coon Rapids and park at the yard tonight. My trailer doesn't load till 815 tomorrow. So I came up here instead of sitting in Gaylord waiting..
free shower in the brand new drivers lounge, and some Outback Steakhouse, to watch a game and get out of the truck for awhile.... I'll head to Gaylord in the AM.....

I may try that tomorrow!!!! I have till Tuesday AM to get Johnson City, Tenn for the first stop of a 3 stopper ending in Greensboro, NC.... Gonna try and get the wife to come meet me for dinner... Or breakfast...or both
have fun driving that 2016!! I'm sure I'm 'stuck' with my 2015! Turned 64,000 miles today. When I picked up 'Louise' she had 54 miles on her.... Got her washed today...so she is just strutting down the highway all proud.... Lol

 

Nice LOL, on Friday I get to see what I'll end up with, lots of 2014's and a few 2015's hanging out so maybe I'll get lucky, though an 07 with a 67 mph govenor might be nice...

 

Well if you were getting tired of the big road your next 2 loads should take care of that, lol. It's been forever since I made that journey up 287. Seemed like it took forever back then too. I've also loaded a few times at the Fort. Safe travels.

Hey RM how is that factory GPS working out for you? I hear lots of complaints about both Garmin and Rand, nothing's perfect, just curious what your overall thoughts are?

 

Its called the Hwy 45 Diner? Is that on the north side of the interstate? I remember going there years ago, wasn't it a Kwik Trip at one time? They always had good food.

 

It's across the hiway from Kwick Trip at the Cenex called The Hiway 45 diner I believe.

 

Yea, exit 45 north side at the Cenex.... Big lot....nice sunset.... Lol..... Stayed there a couple weeks ago... Didn't eat though....

 

Yeah the one on the north side has had good food for years! I loved eating there. Nice people too!

Definitley give it a try Mick. I used to stop whenever I was up there.
