We are running manuals. My check isn't the greatest but I'm a new driver. 2 months solo and my last check was 1500 after taxes. Not the best but not the worst. It will only go up when I hit performance pay. And I don't hear much talk from our drivers about being broke down over and over.

And that pay was a month just under 10k. This month 10.3. 500 miles of ghost miles that will go towards performance. No NYC at all here and no DC.

Also. let me add, I am single with no kids and 44 years old. I stayed out with Swift for 3 months before I took 5 days at home. Believe me, I know OTR is a lifestyle and I am really loving it right now. I can take care of myself out here and don't like being watched over. For example I have had a Driver Manager tell me it is time to get rolling as I was doing my pre trip after a tight 10 hour break. I mean 10 hours and 0 minutes. I know how to mangae my time and be productive. I need a company that will give me the loads I need to keep moving. I'll take care of the rest! That is my job to do!!!

We have a mixed fleet of Manuals (mostly) and are getting more AMT's - all are 10 speeds. You will want to talk with Paul in recruiting about whether or not you have to do a full month of training - you may get by with something less. Keep in mind your first few months at Magnum will be a time where you learn about us, and the dispatchers learn about you so miles will build, that said 2200 to 2500 is fairy typical when freight is running well.

If you are someone who can communicate with others and likes to run they'll do what they can to help you keep running. We are going through a growth phase right now and there are a lot of changes coming so keep in mind that flexibility will help you be successful.

We are so much better than Swift, USA or other mega's, except we do mostly live unloads so you have to be up for that and night driving...also we go near DC and NJ frequently.

Lol. No. Every 2 weeks. But after performance pay and freight starts moving more I can see 900 to 1k a week.
