Well it had to happen eventually, sitting in NC at a chicken processing plant and my load is only partially ready so detention pay for me. I'm also running out of hrs so I may end up staying here for the night and just weighing the load in the morning.

Ah well, it's trucking after all. ☺

That is an amazing statement for reefer freight.

    That's great!

I got to my pick up at 1400...4 hrs early hoping to get loaded early. Didn't happen. Didn't get loaded till 2200.... Couple hrs detention.... Slept on thier lot and left at
4am. Didn't want to start driving last night and need another 10hr break after using the 2'hrs I had left.....especially when I had 6-7 hours in on a 10 already...
Made it out here to Oakwood Illinois. 630 miles in 10:35 minutes. Probably get up and be rolling by 4 tomorrow too. I have four deliveries in ND... Bismarck, Minot, Williston and Dickinson. All open appts for Thursday and Friday...... Then I'm sure it's French fries to somewhere!!!
This is a broker load... Only 12600 lbs.... Fun rolling through West Virginia and 'flying' up those hills... Lol.... Actually passed a few trucks!!

Delivered Monday morning in Ohio, reloaded with a hazmat load in Lima, Ohio going to Edina, Mn. Thursday morning. I would have been able to drop it in the Yard in Coon Rapids and keep rolling if I had the hours, but I'm recapping and short on hours today and tomorrow, so I will deliver this in the Morning, and reload in Wisconsin in the evening going to Auburn, Indiana for a Saturday morning delivery. I'm tentatively scheduled to load back out of Campbell's in Ohio Saturday going back to Mn.. Hopefully I can drop that Sunday and keep rolling.

Got to love broker loads, asked if I could deliver early (they gave me two days to do 443 miles) and they said no, drove to the consignee anyway and asked if they could work me in, as it turns out they did and after sleeping down the road outside their gate I'm finally on sometime until Sunday! Made sure to communicate with dispatch and they already have me set up for a load picking up in Louisville on Monday.

Spent most of the day spending my paycheck and setting up my truck, I'm exhausted! Almost have it the way I want it, for now at least. Found a safe place to leave the trailer and bobtail home, now for some downtime and then it's back out for maybe 30 days this time - got to refill that bank!

Hey guys, when you all drop your trailers and bobtail too a Walmart, are you logging off duty driving, or does Magnum not allow that?

    enicolasy Thanks this.

You have a 10 mile radius before the system moves you to driving - or something like that...

    enicolasy Thanks this.
