Anyone else at the yard in Fargo??? Im here for the night. Stop by and say hi.Truck 1558
I made my last delivery on that load in Dickinson this morning. I slept in alittle and though I was gonna get there around 845... but I forgot Dickinson ND is in the Mountian Time Zone... So I was accually there 15 minutes before recieving opened... Got unloaded pretty quick.
I had to stop in Bismarck and take a DOT random drug test....at least its one test I can pass without studying.....
The worst part was I had to drop my trailer at Bismarck yard and bobtail over to the clinic. If you been to the Bismarck yard.... you know what a muddy mess it is after a good rain like yesterday... got my pretty truck all muddy ;-(
After my whizz quiz, I continued down to Jamestown and got loaded...58 minutes from pulling in to pulling off the scale. Fastest Ive ever loaded there...
Came down to the yard in Fargo to fuel up, shower, drop some paperwork ect....
Ill hit the road in the AM...Headed to Ft Worth....deliver on Monday AM, reload Monday 1400 headed to Concord ND delivering at 0200 Thursday....

Would love to do Jamestown to Fort Worth, I normally get the run to Statesville, NC - ready to try something new. Hope our paths cross at some point over the summer.

Does the terminal in Greensboro have a shop that does PM's?

Oops, brain fart. I told Brian I'd take a NC load, thinking ND (Fargo shop), because I was coming up on my PM. Is it okay if I'm about 1000 miles past due or do I need to get off this load and into a shop? Thanks.

Drove about 1/2 way.. Around 550 miles today. I decieded to get off the interstate and take some 2 laners through Nebraska and Kansas. Sometimes it's nice to roll through the small towns and farmlands... Different scenery.... Interesting to see how and where Americans live and work... One reason I like trucking is getting to see the Country... But the interstates get boring... As long as you don't get stupid, Magnum doesn't really care how you get there... Just get there on time. Instead of staying on 29 to 435 to 70 and the Kansas Tpk, I jumped off on Iowa 4 to US 75 and took that down... It's actually less miles...
I stopped here in Powhatten, Kansas... Population 77.... at the Sac and Fox Truck Stop... Next to the Sac and Fox Indian Casino... Something different than the Pilot or the service area on the Kansas Tpk.
Plenty of truck parking and $5 showers... The Journey continues tomorrow..... LolLast edited: May 16, 2015

Nice and I agree it's good to get some variety in our job, otherwise it would not be nearly as much fun!

Thanks, I will of course call tomorrow. I think the 30,000 is just a grease job anyway but I could be remembering that wrong. I've got you beat on this trip to NC -- 6,000 lbs total, 4 stops and 1,200 miles to cash in haha. Is "egg whites" code for cocaine?
